"8 So Boaz said to Ruth, ‘My daughter, listen to me. Don’t go and glean in another field and don’t go away from here. Stay here with the women who work for me. 9 Watch the field where the men are harvesting, and follow along after the women. I have told the men not to lay a hand on you. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled.’ Ruth 2:8-9
Verb #4: WATCH
Pay attention to where the grains are!
Sometimes, we over-spiritualise things. Isn't it common sense, that if you want to pick some grains, you need to go where it is?
If you want to find work, you need to go where the jobs are? Or maybe you can learn another skill which is more relevant for today's market?
If you want to invest, you need to find out which industries are growing and will continue to be profitable? Not the has-beens of the industrial age.
It is very common sense but it is important to keep our eyes open, see what is going on NOW (not just in the past), and go where the flow is.
